The ending looks cool but thinking about it and it makes no sense.

I reckon the bird is in on in too. After all, it is Punch and Judy.

Love Luther. How does the American series compare?

Jam was attempting to compare standard series lengths for UK and US shows in a horribly ham-fisted way.

UK standard length - 6 episodes.

US standard length - 13 for cable, 20 for network.

Last week the killer killed instantly and without a care in the world, this week he decides that instead of killing the cop he'll just tie him up to a loose hook, poke him with a hot stick for a bit, then leave him in a not quite certain death situation, and instead of watching to make sure he dies the killer then runs off and pretends to kill a bus loads of kids.

I really like this show, but it tries it's best to annoy me.

But he was wearing a mask, so the situations were completely different.

The episode was a little disappointing, but I still enjoyed it.

I have no idea why I spoilered that.

Another thing, last week Luther used his photographic memory to instantly spot the killer in a crowd when all he had to go on was some grainy, night time CCTV footage in which the killer was wearing a mask. This week Luther somehow manages to work out the killers exact plan by rambling on about black holes. What was all that about and how did he get from black holes to a bus full of children? :?

I downloaded the first series and really enjoyed it. Really like Alice.

Surely Luthers hand would have been broken from that nail and been a lot more uncomfortable than was portrayed

This series seems to be building to an obvious conclusion. The one that Alice predicted.

Are there only 2 episodes left?

Some magicians/illusionists do a trick where they stick a needle through the back of their hand and it comes out of their palm. It's actually not an ilusion they really do just stick a needle through their hand in a certain spot where it does not hit anything major or even bleed.

So I guess it's possible to not do any major damage if nailed through the hand, but yeah get it in the wrong place and it will hurt a lot and possibly do major damage.

That was brilliant, easily my favourite episode yet. I particularly loved the twist at the end.
