Me and the girlfriend just watched series (season seems like a slightly ambitious term for four episodes) 2, and strawberry float me was that good! All the hard boiled manliness of a proper cop drama (I could almost hear her pants dampening at the sheer manliness of him pulling the nail out of his hand) with the slightly-cheesy late-nineties Se7en-esque villains.

Awesome.

Any links for series one?

Loved Season 2 but I still think that Season 1 was stronger. Had a much more satisfying series arc, I felt the girl and her mother storyline was crowbarred in.

I wouldn't expect one really, but I don't think anything has been confirmed yet.

I'd be very surprised if there wasn't a third series.

Apparently a 3rd series was announced this weekend by the BBC controller at the Edinburgh Festival. No other details given.

So each season is 4 episodes? I might watch it. I think Idris Alba is a beast.
