It's got some way to go to top the last series. So amazing.

Anybody watch this last night? I thought this thread would be full of opinions. Decent 1st episode, I did enjoy the head through the ceiling.

I did. Great start to the series, I thought.

Unfortunately, I was watching with my housemate who's a but slow, so I spent a fair chunk of time explaining various things to him. :fp:

First Ep was great. A very strong start. I think it'll top series 2 already, and if we are really lucky, series 1.

Why T F did that woman hide in the wardrobe instead of running out of the house widely screaming whilst calling the police with her mobile phone? Despite knowing what was coming it made my GF scream... not me though.

First episode pretty good. I checked under my bed before I went to sleep.

I really can't handle the tension in the scenes when people are just minding their own business before getting killed. The show is just so dark you know it's going to be brutal as strawberry float. I don't know why Ripley didn't just tell Luther that he was being watched, though.

Also, the food processor scene. :dread:

We heard creaks before going to bed and I told my gf it sounds like its coming from the loft.

Then last night I heard a weird groaning cat.

Could not make it up. :dread:

I too don't understand that one he could have wrote a message to him on a post it note. I guess he was persuaded enough to do the snooping to help make his own mind up despite everything they have both been through.

Still it was a good episode, although my partner has refused to watch it again.

When I say editing I mean the overuse of those shots that cut every other split second out.

That I agree with but the first part, I really can't think of a similar detective to Luther

Fitz from Cracker. Sure he's not a detective as such, but still.
