Wanna play it again but how is it with the Classic Controller?

I played it with the Gamecube controller (which has similar analogue stick to the Classic) and I found the 8 directions to be too defined. It was more difficult to do gentle floating movements. But still, nothing stops it from being an awesome, awesome game!

It's a he voiced by a she, I remember reading about it on N64 Mag. If I'm not mistaken she's the same dubber who did Pikachu in other games, but don't quote me on that.

I found the Classic Controller far too loose and floaty. The Wavebird provided a welcome degree of stability.

The game does actually refer to Slippy as a "he". Sure sounds like a girl though. And acts like one. Ooh, burn.

Slippy is definately a guy, in Star Fox Command he gets engaged or something.

I apologise for the webcomic.

He's a guy, btw.

I always used to play as Slippy in Lylat Wars multiplayer.

Yes, I used to play the multiplayer.

One of the multiplayer tunes was awesome.

I'd play it alone just for that

Despite still owning the N64 version I'm tempted to download this off VC so I can play it with the wavebird.

My friends and I love the multiplayer in this game! (Though I can't quite explain why, given its potent ability to evoke sentiments of rage and antipathy towards each other.)

I never knew how to get to Sector Y and all of the planets at the top until I accidentally flew under all of the hoops on Corneria when I managed to not kill Falco. :D

I still play this every once in a while, even though my pad is worn down to an M-shaped stump. I love the eclectic Area 6, and I even like the slow and laborious Aquas.

I could never get high scores. I think the only medal I got was on sector x.

I played it quite a bit. But only had the two Arwing levels. Were there more? I'm sure I read elsewhere there was a way of getting more levels, or tanks or something. :?

You could also play on Katina, but that was only in the mode where it was necessary to shoot down enemy ships for points. I can't remember, precisely.

I never got this (because I thought it looked a bit lame) but I never managed to finish Starwing on the hard route. I only ever got as far as Macbeth.

If you completed the game on hard you could get tanks, if you got all medals in Expert mode you could get On-foot in multiplayer.
