She's only in one episode, so you won't see her again.

Ep 512 has been on my mind ever since I finished watching it. Incredible episode of television.

Nobody watched the finale, then? Had a real season 1 vibe to it, I thought. Great to see Peggy still in the show. Incredibly low key for a finale, though.

Finale - yep, a very low key finale. I was wondering beforehand what they were building up to but in the end it was nothing major. Obviously some storylines came to an end but some like Don's marriage developed and maybe new ones started with Megan's career taking off/office expanding. Hopefully Peggy is in the latter. Some gorgeous scenes and music. Not the best finale but the best season so far.

Was quite low key as mentioned but still really enjoyable. A fantastic season overall, it really flew by.

Been meaning to watch this show for a while now so got a loan of seasons 1-2 on DVD from my mate.
Only watched the first five episodes but I'm really rather enjoying it.

I assume that Don's brother comes back at some point and it bites him in the ass?

So yeah. I'll be catchin up with this. :D

You know what I love? The 'previously' music.

Question about a specific event involving Joan in series 2 (I think it's from S2 anyway...).

Does the show get around to dealing with her rape?

I can understand them leaving to deal with it later down the line, but to not allude to it in the slightest way had me wondering if I had imagine it. Ta for the answer though.

Half way through season 2 for about 6 months now. Just haven't got round to watching them. What seasons would everyone say are the best?

I finally started watching this the other month and ended up blitzing through all 5 seasons in weeks :slol:

It's so addictive and the few weeks of waiting for season 6 has been killing me

Started watching Mad Men on Netflix USA before Christmas then quickly polished them off! And then season 5 from the internets.

Season 1 was so unique. When we talk about period dramas we think about ladies in bonnets who live in stately houses; but Mad Men absolutely is a period drama for taking the audience back to the 1950s the language and concerns of the era. It didn't feel like a standard tv show with the plot neatly tied up at the end of each episode. Its slower paced but feels like it has more meat to it. Draper is excellent, in this day and age of metrosexuals he comes across as a real, flawed, man. Its all the little details that elevate the series. Draper's friendship with Stirling as a subservient member of staff and how this changes. Cooper. Joan. The politics. The couple of tender moments with Peggy. Season 7 will be the last. Until then I will like to share this little interlude from the first episode of Season 5 with these words "Zou Bisou Bisou!"

[Season 5 spoiler]
