Are you saying you dont want to use styling products because you'll have to wash every day?

Bit of a weird question. but can anybody recommend a shampoo that doesn't leave your hair all fluffy?

My hair is great like a day after I wash it. but the day i wash it it goes all fluffy and looks awful

What do you do with it after you've washed it, in terms of styling? I have the same problem if I don't put anything in my hair, but I tend to find that a little bit of matt clay helps ease that fluffy/frizzy newly-washed feeling.

Nothing. My hair is really thick so if I put anything on it it barely does anything. Plus, if I put anything on it I'll just have to wash it the next day so it'd defeat the point.

Day after I wash it it's oily enough to style but still feels clean.

Surely there must be a shampoo that cleans your hair without turning it into candyfloss?

DO you use conditioner?

Try and style it with your chosen product while it is still damp and you should keep the moisture in.

That's not necessarily true, I don't always wash my hair every day. Mine also usually sits better the next day, even after I've styled it. If you don't put too much in, it won't go gross the day after.

However, I've very recently been introduced to this product that you apply to your hair while it's still damp (towel dry it a bit first then put it in) and it helps shape your hair when you blow dry it. I wasn't convinced it'd do much but I've been really surprised by how much it holds and it dries very similarly to how it would be the day after washing. Not gonna lie, it's not cheap, but you use so little every day. I'm pretty sure I'll still have the same bottle in 6 months time.

Conditioning is definitely a must, too.

Throw your shampoo in the bin. Doing it every day makes your hair feel shite.

I condition every day, which also gives it a bit of a cleaning, and shampoo when I get it cut. I too have thick hair, and it will still feel a bit fluffy after your shower, but you'll keep more of your normal oils etc so it's not as bad as a shampoo. I've also taking to showering in the evening instead of morning, that way by the morning my hair has stopped being so fluffy, and I can do what I like with it.

My hair is really thick so if I put anything on it it barely does anything.

This is a load of strawberry floating garbage, however. You've just not found the right stuff.

I too much prefer that day two feel. I also like my hair after I've been swimming...which is definitely wrong =\ Apparently no shampoo is the best way to go.... gets your hair into its natural cycle or something...But i can imagine you'd have a few weeks of smelly head.

You arent supposed to shampoo every day. Every other at the most.

You'll dry your hair out otherwise.

I shampoo every day. I know I shouldn't, but I just feel so dirty otherwise. :(

Well you can condition or use an inbetween-days treatment if you want the psychological reassurance.
