Or are you a pants man? Or a, god forbid, novelty boxers fool?

This post reminds me of how much I hate novelty socks and boxers. They need to die.

I should go clothes shopping this weekend. My clothes are just turning to crap at the moment.

Depends what they look like on you, which depends on your face shape and skin colour. I prefer skimpy frames myself but they tend to be quite expensive.

Love buying nice clothes and (trying to) look(ing) good. I approve of this thread. 8-)

£50. Lovely fabric, fits really well, not too black and not faded out, and doesn't have that 'shiny' look.
And boxers all the way! I get mine from either Next or H&M - the latter aren't too clever.

I plan to go clothes shopping soon. Need some wintery clothes. I remember seeing a lovely knitwear thick cardi by Superdry last year in Selfridge's but it was about £80. :(

I too approve of this thread. Over the last few years it's been a case of out with the old (and mostly crappy) and in with the new.

I don't really have the cash to be spending upwards of £50 per item though, so I slum it in H&M and the like. I usually like to have a good look around the shops once a month or so. My one pet hate is shops which insist on sticking their name all of their products, i.e. Bench.

Boxer briefs here.

As for clothes, I generally go to Next, Burton or Debenhams. John Lewis occasionally.

I need to get a couple of things at the weekend. I'm looking at a dark brown jumper (to go with a white shirt underneath), some dark jeans and maybe some shoes.

Chaps on a budget, maybe it's worth checking out TK Maxx. Their stuff isn't laid out so well, but if you have the patience, and a bit of luck, you cam get some good gear.
strawberry float all wrong with places like Next, H&M etc but I find that some of their clothes can sometimes just scream "I'm cheap as strawberry float from bread and butter common as strawberry float Next!!1!" The subtler the better, like Maf's Burtons coat.

Pics Lotus, that's the rules :)

Try out Next for coats. I was in there on Oxford Street a few weekends back and they had a really nice one for £120. I was so close to buying it but had already spent a silly amount that day. :(

Buff, where would you suggest I go for some slim-fitting polo shirts? I seem to remember you wearing one in a picture from one of the Manc meets. I'm pretty sure you had a WKD in your hand at the time.
