'times'. Surely the only time a citizen has to worry about is the majority vote, the rest can be caught up on later....

I'm not really sure what to make of Denny and Cora being killed. If they truly were plucked randomly from a list provided by the Mafia then I don't think there's anything we can really gleam from that, other than one's a big loss, and one's Denny. ;)

Edit -

And just for the record, quoted from the last game:

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Well no, because he'll want to see the results of the vote I guess.

A very wise state to be in, Drummy. Do not blame you.

I have thought of a good thing to do.

Right now, today, we shouldn't lynch anyone. We have nothing to gain and it will only help the mafia. Early on the mafia will be getting their kills via the lynches, so WE SHOULD NOT LYNCH ANYONE.

Repeat; until there has been a mafia killing (a proper one) there should be no citizen killings. We need to keep as much of a majority as possible.

I actually like that idea, it's what always strawberry floats us over in DML's games because the actives get lynched early on and then the humans at the end never stood a chance. Hopefully if we don't lynch until we have some for of evidence we could catch a mafian.

I'm just going on Wild Speculation....

Also can we 'not' lynch? I thought we had to.

Well in this case the actives ARE the mafia, since they can't hide behind PMs like AYAW. Unless they are cheating.

On the game I played we didn't have to, but that is just silly. I have already pointed out two mafia people

This isn't a bad idea, however if there's little to no voting activity I'd expect Herbi to go "OI! NO! PLAY THE GAME!" and let the Mafia have a free shot.

Nah, only one of them needs to be active. The others can follow.

Anyway, we can "not lynch", yeah. And I strongly recommend we wait until there's been at least one legit mafia kill. Right now we're only going to kill another citizen.

Yeah votes go in the thread. But hopefully no votes until a mafia kill, yeah? Cool.

Sure thing.

I wouldn't waste my vote now, knowing absolutely nothing, anyway. And even if something comes up later, I have a party to go to, and I'll be out filling myself with coke. And rum. Stick me down as "no vote".

We should vote for someone at least, just so we get the hang of it.

At the moment I choose not to vote as we simply don't have anything to go on.

Fatal Exception wrote:Well in this case the actives ARE the mafia, since they can't hide behind PMs like AYAW. Unless they are cheating.

That's not necessarily true. They might stay very quiet for the opening 24 hours and gradually insert themselves into the game. It could be worth creating a list sometime this evening to see who has posted and who hasn't.
