Yeah looked at a few reviews, I think ill get it but mulling over the DLC which I hear is brilliant. The first part being about the civil rights movement which sounds very interesting.

I'm a few hours into this and I think it's brilliant. The graphics, the setting the horrible racist language and the gameplay is well done. I know it gets repetitive apparently but story wise this is among the best of the open world type I've seen. The facial detail in cut scenes is remarkable.

Last but not least is the soundtrack, good god, it's essential to its place and time and beats any other. I wanted late 60's early 70's era out of this and they've nailed it. Driving about listening to "sitting by the dock of the bay" with the bayou by your side is a gorgeous taste of americana.

I know people think that the racism was a bit too much (going by reviews) but as the note at start suggests, it was the reality back then so to ignore it would be a disservice. I also always kill and never recruite those dixie dickheads.
