Mafia III - PC, PS4, XB1

I'm guessing you didn't price matched with Cex Maf. Their trade in prices are always better.

Mafia 3 is not worth trading in Uncharted and Deus ex for.

If you'd have waited a day and bought it at Cex you probably could have traded in 2 games and got it for free with some money back.

So what makes this stand out from other open world games?

Deus Ex didn't really grab me and I got bored after two or three hours, haven't touched it in a few weeks. Uncharted is Uncharted, think I played to the bit past Scotland and got bored.

You have to go into the pause menu to switch between lethal and non-lethal takedowns?

Well, it doesn't make a bit of difference to the gameplay, is more of a censorship option. If you find it a bit jarring stomping around killing everyone, turn it off.

My general style of play in games is to knock out civilians and kill the enemy. Guess I'll just murder everyone.

Whenever I attack civilians, he does a sort of judo faceplant on them instead of stabbing.

What really strawberry floating sucks is that you can't hold up bars like in mafia 2 by aiming your gun at the barman, they just run for the phone anyway and you have to put them down.
Also there's no clothing customisation. I know it's a different studio but Mafia 2 did those things so well and it's a shame they're gone.

A shame 2K didn't trust the original team to make a big budget game.

This has a really good, really big soundtrack. And yet every single time one station is playing a bad song the other two are also playing rubbish.

On PS4 is there a day one patch?

Yeah "you belong to me" is a stone cold banger and not a creepy as strawberry float four minute long whine

On PS4 they need to increase the size of some of the HUD stuff as currently some of the prompts are strawberry floating tiny. You can't even make out what d-pad direction it's showing you for healing and stuff.

12 hours in and a screen pops up that basically says "the actual game starts now" :lol:

They really need to patch in a draw distance setting, I keep ending up in legoland if I drive across a bridge fast

The story in this looks really good. Might have to put it on my Christmas list.

PC Patch is out now that ups framerates and probably has a bunch more tweaks because it's 1.2GB
