Reading through the rumours, they seem to mention a UMvC3 remaster and MvC4......are we expecting both?

Both would be nice. Marvel 3 was starting to get interesting again as it was dying down. Virgil and Zero were becoming less dominant. Releasing a new version with a new balance patch would completely rejuvenate the scene.

That trailer seems to support the 2-on-2 rumour. I know it's early but I'm not sure I liked the look of it. The SFIV cell-shading effect made the disparate character designs in mvc3 harmonise, whereas here, the contrast between MegaMan and Ryu is really jarring. Still, it was just an jntro I suppose...

First Gameplay Reveal

Lighting issues and some missing facial animations aside, great first look to me.

As has been pointed out multiple places the sprites and moves are very MvC3, which may mean a large roster, which is something I thought would be beyond Capcom at this point

So this was out last week and was outsold by Pokken DX on Switch in the UK. Ultra Street Fighter II (one of Capcom's Switch "test" games) had a better debut than it too.
