I'd argue he deserves one. A lot of his case was built upon Dasseys "confession" combined with the other questionable events of his conviction and I think it's a valid argument for a retrial.

Great news. The boy was clearly coerced into it.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

This whole thing is a conspiracy by Netflix. They've engineered this retrial so they are able to create a new show in 15 years where Dassey is on trial AGAIN for murdering someone else, after being cleared of this particular crime.

Wake up, sheeple.

Coming Soon to Netflix:

Making a Murderer 2: Murder Harder

After release, Dassey caught up with the last 9 years worth of Wrestlemania. The next day a woman was found dead, bludgeoned to death by a plastic chair. The police make the case that only a wrestling fan would kill somebody in such a way and Dassey is the only wrestling fan in the whole of Manitowoc County, but Netflix has uncovered evidence that there was another wrestling fan on the loose that day...

Had the judge just been on a Netflix binge? ;)

Interesting news, who knows where this crazy story will end up!

Dassey.

This weakens the case against Avery as this played a crucial part against him.

Why release him now and not at the end of March next year when he could immediately look forward to a new Wrestlemania?

I keep getting told that prison is like a holiday camp and so I would imagine they paid for him to have front row seats at every Wrestlemania while he was "inside". :x

US prisons aren't quite as luxury as UK ones. He probably had to make do with pay per view on his paltry 32" tv

So he's now out and free to kill (again)?

It's like Avery's original story. Guy gets wrongly convicted, spends ages in jail, sues the police, then kills someone. All we need is a victim with a creepy brother and we're all set.

So you think Avery did kill her?

My thoughts on it from earlier in the thread:

Preezy wrote:
I really don't know what to think about Avery being found guilty. I think the documentary clearly was on his side to make it a more interesting show but if he didn't kill her then who did? The evidence the defence had clearly showed police misconduct but that doesn't exonerate Avery, I just don't know, such a clusterfuck. To think that whilst we're all watching and debating this, he's been in prison for 10 years is just mental.

Still feel the same I think.
