I was too harsh, there - there is only one wee battle before you meet the mid-level boss, and it was pretty fun anyway! Right, so I'm about to tackle the Rabbid Piranha...

Yay! I took down that midboss*, rescued Luigi and opened up some stuff back at Peach's Castle - I feel epic :toot: .

* After activating the "easy" option for the fight. It still wasn't easy, though :shifty: ...

I just started 1-6 and won the first battle but I gotta call it a day for now. I don't know about you guys, but this feels like a "summer" kind of game... so bright and cheery :) . I can see that there are less welcoming environments off the castle hub, though...

Have to agree, one of the most appealing aspects of Switch is seeing Nintendo's post-1996 art style finally being realised with the Snowdrop and Unreal Engine 4 engines.

If Miyamoto's comments and the new Yoshi are any indication, all Nintendo development is switching to UE4.

Each world definitely has its own feel, and yes the environmental design in the game is fantastic. I've just finished world 3 and it is my favourite yet - but definitely not summery! It's a spooky-themed world with a central town surrounded by three distinct areas - castle ruins, rural village, and swamp. It's wonderful

The third boss is great

It may just be that Royal Mail didn't manage to deliver this to me on Saturday, but the incorrect name in the topic title has really been bugging me (not to mention in the in the Friday Feeling topic).
