In serious answer to your question, there's several points on this track which can be used to gain a bit of extra speed, Kart and character choice is also vital!

Are you using the drum as a shortcut before the last corner? I'm trying to, but hit the opposite edge of the track pretty much every time - if I can just get a bit more 'turn' on it I reckon it'll be worth the agro....

Na, I've toyed with that drum but you have to get the angle just right to avoid getting the slow down on the grass! I went through a spell of getting it right twice and then messing it all up on the last lap! D :evil:

Are you serious? NTSC and PAL are names of TV standards. Games released for NTSC TVs are faster 'cause NTSC has a refresh rate of 60 Hz versus 50 Hz for PAL.

Yeah, I'm not so keen on the 'novelty' tracks. But I'll still pm my 'sunday driver' time and hope for apathy from the better drivers!

So, has anyone else made a start on the new track yet? I've just got round in 1:59:994 (under 2 mins! Yes! Get in! etc.), which feels like a good place to be at the start of the week....
