I neglected to post the results of Monday's kart action! It was good to see Seven return to the grid and also to welcome Doeragynn for the first time :toot:

. Jazzem just about held off the hoards to claim the crown but I have a feeling that some karters are setting eyes on grabbing the glory next time!

Upcoming sessions
The next Monday racing falls on Christmas Day night. The tournament will run as scheduled for those folk who want to race although I am afraid that I won't be available to join in. After that the next Monday will be 1 January and, once again, I may not be around to join in on that one. If I can I will, though.

Surely with the Switch, it doesn't matter where you are on Monday and you can join in!! That's the beauty of Switch. :toot:

I swear the AI only uses blue shells when im in front on the last lap

It does rather consistently strawberry float you over on the last corner. Was trying to get 3 stars on 150cc tracks and eventually rage quit as some strawberry floater inevitably took first in the final stretch.

Still loving it though.

Guys, just wait until you join the GRcade Mario Kart Monday sessions... 'cadians like Jazzem, TWA and Seven have LITERALLY* had their bodies adapted for karting and they dish out constant pain and frustration to their opponents. Prepare to face evil :toot:

Wow! it's looking like we could have quite a few new players on the track tonight!

Just a few pointers to help:

> If you get kicked out of the racing (i.e. due to a comms error) it is usually better to use the "join a friend" option rather than go back in via the tournament option

> If more than 15 players join then some players will be split out into a different racing room; although the overall points chart will still record all of the participants in a single list

> Most folk start at 21:00 and complete the standard sixteen races by 22:00. If you join later then you gotta hope that some folk continue to play on a practice basis so that you can finish your sixteen races!

> If you're new and not doing too great... don't panic! Some GRcadians know this game inside out and are very decent players. Just stick with it, stay calm and your own performance will get better week-by-week!
