I had a surprisingly good night Won a race (I beat Matt!) almost won another, and came second in a few

I was having problems with my weapon selection though - most of the time I had to wait for it to cycle all the way through...it wasn't quickly selecting

If you press the weapon button, it selects the weapon immediately...

Only tonight, for whatever reason, it wasn't working!

Uhm... I've never known this in all the time I've played the game here with GRcade .

Honestly spamming the weapon button seems to make you get worse items anecdotally.

Funnily enough, I did get better items than usual last night by having to wait for it to cycle through...

Not for me, I got crap weapons all night

I haven't played a lot of Mario Kart before the Wii U version (SNES for a few hours, N64 for an hour, DS not at all, Wii for an hour, 3DS not at all)... even though I have 'em .

Hypes (as he well knows) did not finish second. Only Staydead starts five races later than anyone and then claims it's legit. Hypes has more class than that.
