The sad thing is, I was really up for it last night.

I drove a spectacular first race on Yoshi's Circuit, managing to just stay in from of Denny for most of the last lap.

And just before my connection went, I was just beaten out of a famous victory on Rainbow Road and won Shyguy Falls... I was all ready for a spectacular last 6 races!!

Oh well, I tip next time - 2 weeks for me as away next week!

You did well, Grum! it takes time to learn the tracks and get used to the battling... I remember that my goal was to get 100 points on a GRcade karting night and it felt great when I managed it . Our next goal should be, say, 120 points?

I have had plenty of practice but think I need to learn the shortcuts and be a bit more consistent.

I sometimes think I'm doing well and then it all goes wrong and I start to go off track I think it's too much pressure and everyone's evil

I'll try to aim for 120 points and work at improving my score. One day we will be the top of the table

Same here, man. The guys that have worked out the shortcuts have an edge that is hard to compete against. We just have to keep our eyes open and hope we pick up those sacred paths!
