With Sony basically saying they're going to make it "MCU-Adjacent". So probably references etc as they desperately try to pretend the big boys want to play with them and they're part of the successful franchise.

It'll probably work like the Netflix shows where it's all one way references I guess. It'll be interesting to see how they do this Venom movie without Spider-Man if the rumoured storyline turns out to be true.

I'm mostly going to be in Malaysia, went to the local cinema there a couple of times before and it's absolute chaos. Totally different cinema-going culture it seemed. Everyone just talks loudly while the movie is on, people sit playing games on their phones with the volume up so they can hear it over the sound of the movie, last time there were even people yelling across the room at eachother having a good chat

The sweetcorn was nice though.

My most memorable cinema experience was watching The Raid in Singapore when it was released in cinemas and everyone in the fully packed out cinema cheering like crazy and all giving it a round of applause after the Mad dog fight near the end.
