Yup, confirmed in the press release.

Sweet, I didn't see it there at first. They will probably be more important to the MCU with the whole space stuff theme going forward, and I'm actually excited for a decent F4 movie too, hopefully they commit to one.

I hope they get the FF to strawberry float and cherry pick the best characters from the supporting cast to strategically insert into the MCU. I find the fantastic four very archaic in terms of their relevance to modern society.

I would think they will start by bringing in certain characters like Silver Surfer/Galactus first off. I really want to see more period pieces (we've only had a single Captain America movie and a few short scenes in Ant-Man/Iron Man's) and an F4 movie would really work in that mould I think.

Make it an intentionally anachronistic film set in the 1960s and I'm in.

Yeh  it’s a shame they couldn’t have got one or two movies out before Infinity War and they could have used the time gem/multiverse to bring them to the present and then do a modern take on the characters/or just use them as secondary characters in other movies

Deadpool Can Stay R-Rated at Disney, Says Bob Iger

In a call with investors following Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox, Iger addressed the future of Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds' raunchy and lucrative R-rated Marvel franchise at Fox.

"It [Deadpool] clearly has been and will be Marvel branded. But we think there might be an opportunity for a Marvel-R brand for something like Deadpool," said Iger. "As long as we let the audiences know what's coming, we think we can manage that fine."

Every time a new Marvel movie comes out, it is always claimed this is the best one so far.

I have high hopes for Black Panther and I suspect it'll do well financially too. Don't know anything about the origin story etc, just get the impression it won't be gooseberry fool like Thor 2 or boring like Captain America 1.

Not really. It's only started happening over the past few years with stuff like Cap 2, Guardians 2 and Thor 3 branching out from the traditional stuff they were mostly doing in phase 1 and 2 and this looks like it's continuing the trend of doing something new, more so than the others.

So is Ant Man & Wasp set after the events of Avengers: Infinity War and the apocalyptic destruction that presumably entails? Is Ant Man in Infinity War?

Yeah interesting. I assumed when I watched the trailer that he was referring to Civil War as i simply forgot about Infinity War coming out before. If it is set after then it kinda puts to bed some of the rumours around apocalypse and possible time travel to reset things etc..

Excellent trailer though. I really enjoyed the first film, it should have done a lot better than it did box office wise.

Apparently it's set just after Civil War.

I may be wrong about this but I think the original exceeded Disney’s expectations - irrespective I hope this sequel smashes it out of the park. I loved Paul Rudd in the Lang role.

What do people think the worst Marvel movie is? I'd vote for the second Avenger's movies personally but I think I've missed a load.

Iron Man 2 and Thor 2 are both very weak in my opinion. Avengers 2 has its' fair share of problems as well though for sure.

I quite liked Thor 2. Don't think I finished watching Thor 2, or I've totally forgotten what happens.
