Jesus christ I'm a raging iron man fanboy and I even I think that's a stupid decision.

The Ant-Man movie must be skipping/barely featuring Pym, what's the point of introducing him now? He'll probably be some boring background Ultimate Giant-Man character now :fp:

This seems like a change just for changes sake really.

Like was said earlier, Hank Pym will be pretty much pointless without the fact he was responsible for creating Ultron. Earths Ultimate Heroes had the idea of Tony Stark modifyingUltron to add weapons and such which eventually contributed to Ultron turning on humanity, which was a good way to go about it if you want to involve Iron Man in some way but this is just... :fp:

I can understand [b]why[b/] they've done it, Iron Man is by far the most popular of the Marvel films, but that doesn't make it a good idea at all from a narrative perspective, just a financial one.

Edgar Wright's Ant-Man film even more irrelevant now.

What a shame.

I've got a feeling that Ultron will still be Pyms creation. I think we will see him in the TV series starting in September, that gives them a year to introduce the character properly.

That Iron Man thing is just an old rumour bundled in with some of the newer rumours to make up a fake movie plot.

I think the most exciting thing about the new Thor for me is seeing Loki again, hope he's in it a good bit!

I'm amazed they chose AoU for Avenger 2 having finished the comics. It was a pretty shonky series to be honest with and ending that was stupid. I suppose if they completely rewrite the whole story it might actually be a good thing!

They've said that Age of Ultron only takes its name from the comics, it's not going to tell that story

Kevin Feige Says Marvel Has Their Movies Planned Through 2021
superherohype.com wrote:Marvel Studios is no stranger to planning things well in advance of their intended release, in fact they've already set release dates for two untitled films in 2016 and one in 2017. Those three films have yet to be officially discussed, but Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige says they've got things mapped out even further down the road.

"I could arguably say what we're planning for the year 2021," Feige told WIRED. "Will that happen? I don't know. But what we planned for 2015 in 2006 is happening." Marvel's 2015 plans include Avengers: Age of Ultron and the long awaited Ant-Man feature.

Feige also teased further expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with future films. "Five years ago, looking at our plan, we knew that if Avengers was going to work, the movies had to stand alone," he says. "Now we have to prove to the studio that we're more than just these five characters, these five franchises."

It has been hinted in the past that Marvel has plans for new characters in Phase Three like Doctor Strange and The Black Panther. Either of those could take on these future release dates as could a Marvel's The Avengers 3 (likely for 2017), another sequel to an existing film or even a completely new surprise.

What characters do you want to see Marvel try out in the future?

Posted in the proper thread ;)

This is looking brilliant. Picking a director with GoT experience was a good move.

Heimdall 8-)

Doesn't have the Loki supposedly cutting off Thor's hand scene shown at SDCC.

And yeah given Portman's supposed reluctance to return for this, looks like Jane is dying. Meh. Thor & Sif

I know nothing about Guardians of the Galaxy. Could someone sum up everything I need to know in no more than four sentences?
