Disney is expanding its Marvel TV universe to Freeform with Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger, a straight-to-series live-action drama based on the Marvel characters, which is aimed at young adults.

Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger follows the interracial romance between Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson, two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers while falling in love. Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to engulf others in darkness. They quickly learn they are better together than apart — but their feelings for each other make their already complicated world even more challenging.

Interesting news about Cloak and Dagger. They're big in with Spider-Man so there's an opportunity for them to show they give a strawberry float about the TV universe and have him pop up in a cameo.
