Any word on how many post credit scenes they have for Civil War yet?

The early preview screenings were shown one but apparently there's another which was held back.

That was great, hope they do a "Road to Infinity War" supercut sometime too.

Robert Downey Jr., who plays the red and gold-armored Marvel character, has closed a deal to join the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Marvel and Sony’s reboot of the web-crawling superhero, sources tell THR.

Tom Holland will star as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and is making his debut as the character in Civil War (and already garnering praise for his take on the role).

The movie establishes a key relationship between Tony Stark/Iron Man and Parker and Homecoming will continue that thread.

Michael Keaton won't be though.

That is good, I enjoyed the few cross over stories between Iron Man and Spiderman in the comics 20 odd years ago.

Last Chance

Ok, so my unpleasant thought was this. Based on the last few moments and pieces of dialogue in that video above (Which I know isn't official) could we see them doing the death of Captain America at the end of this? He obviously gets killed at the very end of the Civil War comics (Fallen Son is the arc I believe) and it didn't even occur to me that they could go there until now. This would then set up either Falcon or Bucky taking up the mantle which could definitely be referenced and alluded to in Ragnarok, Homecoming and Doctor Strange. I don't know as it's all just conjecture, but I've heard that there are very definitely surprises in Civil War.

I'm hoping and expecting that they'll do exactly that. Not that I have any problems with him, it's just the natural progression of the story in my opinion.

I think they will too. I thought they may perhaps kill Stark instead as a surprise, but with him confirmed to be in Spider-Man (unless that's a deliberate curveball and Cap is really in Spider-Man instead) then it seems likely it's going to go this way. They'd certainly be a better pay off to Caps story if it's him :(

If it doesn't happen I'm going to be incredibly disappointed. They can always revive him later in Infinity War so he wreck Thanos with Mjolnir.

Just rewatched The First Avenger.

For a movie I wasn't blown away by the first time, it always seems to grow on me a bit more every time I rewatch it. So many good scenes. Hugo Weaving was perfect for Red Skull and having seen every movie with Cap in it since, I honestly can't picture how anyone else could come close to being as good for the role as Chris Evans. He's been phenomenal and he just gets better each time.

Plus it's got that cheesy but awesome musical segment in the middle.

I love Iron Man, and it was those movies that drew me in but as time goes on I just think I've definitely changed sides.

I have to say that out of all the Marvel films, the captain America ones are my favourites - The first avenger and 2/3 of the winter soldier. They just seem to have much better content than the others.

And I actually like captain america, because he isnt - America, fuckyeah.

Looks like Inhumans is going to be dropped completely, after recently being put back, twice.

And this has lead to people thinking X-Men will be taking it's place in the MCU :fp:

I think the real thinking is that as long as Spiderman is not awful then Spiderman 2 will take its 2019 slot

I was really looking forward to a proper Inhumans film, hope it isn't 'dropped completely'.

Maybe they watched Agents of Shield and thought "strawberry float that" after seeing the Inhumans stuff in that

Pushed into phase 4 rather than being cancelled, hopefully. Wasn't it one of the films that was strawberry floated about to make way for the 6th Spider-Man film on it's third reboot? A shame as I'd much rather see Inhumans than another one of those films.

I've not watched much of S3 of Agents Of Shield, but they made the Inhumans seem boring as strawberry float. Combine that with Spider-Man coming back and presumably more Ant-Man and Doctor Strange movies they maybe didn't want to take the risk.

It's a shame as I'd love nothing more than to see Black Bolt, Medusa and Lockjaw on the big screen. If only for that moment with Thanos in Infinity.

Yeah same, the moment the Inhuman stuff kicked off the show got real boring. And whilst a lot of this is down to strawberry floating awful additions to the cast it's hardly a great sign for something that they wanted to use to build hype for a movie.

Rich Johnston over on Bleeding Cool is predictably pointing out that he called this a while back.
