Yes

And Sam Niel and a less famous Hemsworth brother

Antony Hopkins gets best line of the movie in that scene too

Oh gooseberry fool!

Yeh I knew Sam Niel was cameoing (I was hoping that he would be an elder or something more important to the MCU :( )
Didn't recognise the guy playing Thor so I guess that was the brother
Was surprised with Sir Hopkins line there  in fact there were a few point where I was surprised by the language they got away with

Another thing just came to mind, I was happy to see a fully powered up Thor finally too  he has been holding back in all the previous movies

Just got back from Thor 3. It was great. I loved the humour.

where was sif?

i can’t believe they killed off the rest of the super best friends. I W always wanted a super best friends adventure movie. They really hardy featured in any of the films. Always seemed under used

i assume that is it now and Hulk is Hulk for ever in the MCU

i liked that new rock character, I think someone sort of New Zealand ascent, sounded a bit like Jonah from summer heights high

uproxx: I know you’re a huge Inhumans fan, and you lost that property to TV. Now, with that doing how it’s doing on television, do you look at that and go, well, maybe it’s best we didn’t do that one? Or do you still wish you had that property because you think you could have really knocked out of the park?

Kevin Feige: [Laughs] You’re breaking up, Mike. I can’t hear you. You’re breaking up…

I really was hoping it was Murray from FotC, but to be fair I think half of New Zealand is in the film

Brilliant film, funny, great action scenes, great cast....sort of everything which have made the Marvel movies so great!

In regards to the first end credit scene am I right in thinking that
The ship that appears next to them is Thanos

I don’t believe it’s confirmed but it seems to be the general consensus.

Saw this again earlier, even better the second time (I took my glasses with me :slol: )

Apparently it's already broken even financially and doing better than Spider-Man Homecoming

Most people in the cinema lost it at Thor telling the story about himself and Loki as a snake.

Tessa Thompson was pretty great as Valkyrie, hope to see much more from her in future films.

Impressive - Homecoming is only about $10 million from becoming the highest grossing Spider-Man, too. Obviously inflation comes into play there but it's been a good year for the MCU I think.

I should note that the comparison to Spider-Man being the same point after its release rather than what Spider-Man has made to date :shifty:

I think with inflation Spider-Man 3 is something like a billion. Still need to see that movie :dread:

Yep, agree with the consensus: really liked it. Fav bits were the snake story, the rotating-chain and pretty much all of Banner's dialogue.

Suffered the same problems as literally all Marvel films (too long, dull second act, too much CGI) but is definitely one of the best they've done.

It's easily the worst of the six but it's not awful, just misguided. That dance scene though :dread:

She was good but I thought (like all the villains) wasted.

Apparently in the next Avengers Thanos is the primary character so it will be quite interesting watching the movie from his perspective if that's the case :datass: (also might see Hela show up in those movies too?)
