I liked Iron Fist but agree it feels under appreciated. I enjoyed it more than Luke Cage. The problem with Luke Cage is that the villains don't really pack enough punch and it sort of lags around the middle of the series.

Didn't think much of The Defenders, thought that was the weakest of the Marvel series.

Yes?

Cloak and Dagger is pretty frustrating so far. I just want them to get on with it.

EDIT: I think I posted this in the wrong place.

What about iron fist?

Just on the last episode of The Punisher

Luke Cage is great.

Iron Fist is ok, it's not as terrible as people make out, but it is definitely the worst of the Netflix Marvel shows. It's worth watching before the Defenders though.

Yeah I would say watching Iron Fist before Defenders is probably a good move. Although Defenders is obviously about all four of them together it leans most heavily on Daredevil and Iron Fist in terms of the plot and wider continuity.

Just finished Luke Cage season 2 and it was much better than season 1. It has a stronger story and a much better antagonist.

Despite all the stick it gets I actually enjoyed Iron Fist, though it suffers from lack of a decent villain that the other marvel Netflix shows all have.

For what it's worth, I think Iron Fist was far better than Luke Cage. Luke Cage was dull as dishwater. Is season 2 any better?

I know you're on your own this weekend but it's a bit early to be cracking out the booze.

Iron Fist wasn’t as bad as people make out, but S1 Luke Cage kicks the gooseberry fool out of it.

Irregardless DD series 1 and 2 are much better than all the others. JJ series 1 was superb but 2 was very poor and boring in my opinion. LC1 has
Moments but felt padded and ended badly. Punisher was very good. Defenders felt rushed and disconnected. iron fist was enjoyable but a bit shallow. I’m watching LC2 at the moment and it’s not gripping me to be honest.

DD1=DD2>JJ1>Pun>LC1~IF>JJ2>Def

At the moment (7 episodes in) I’d say LC2 is about on par with first series.

The Aussie bloke tried his best but I think he had pretty weak material to work with. Iron fist was a missed opportunity - hopefully season 2 hits the mark a little better.

I honestly had to sit here and think for a good 5 minutes before I could even remember what happened in Iron Fist and who the villain(s) may have been!

The narrative in IF was probably the weakest of the Netflix Marvel shows so far and unfortunately it didn't have anything else to make up for that, the central performances were fairly weak and the one thing that should have been a nailed on win for the show, the fight sequences, were terrible (although reading about the production of the show it seems they have very little time to choreograph and rehearse these so I'm not blaming the performers!)

I didn't hate Iron Fist but I do think it deserves its position as the weakest of the shows so far, here's hoping they can redeem it with season 2!
