Punisher is up on Netflix today. Completely forgot but it doesn't look like I'm the only one :slol:

Why does that ginger banana split from Daredevil have to be in it? I think I'll give it a pass because of her.

It's getting pelters for being a bit too pro-gun for today's America, but apparently its depiction of Frank Castle is easily the best one yet.

Loving it two episodes it and it's very gritty and I'm hoping it keeps its dark gritty tone.

Are you on about the Karen Page character? She’s not ginger, is she?

Imagine criticising The Punisher for being too Pro-Gun.

Overall solid season but like with all the Marvel shows it could do with being a few episodes shorter.

Goddamn that's a great music choice in the first episode of the punisher

Almost makes up for "RUNNING GAIT RECOGNITION" which is way dumber than even CSI's representation of technology

I watched this all on Saturday and thought it was brilliant. I'd probably rate it 3rd out of the Marvel Netflix Series, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Punisher - I thought it was a tad slow and wonder if the gun play was toned down due to the recent awful shootings in the US.

I finished Punisher yesterday and really enjoyed it. Brutal in places, but it also had heart where needed. The tech geek character wasn’t as annoying as I thought he was going to be and any annoyance was part of his character.

Amber Rose Revah.

I agree with that. It could have done with being chopped down to 10 episodes and the same goes for the other Netflix Marvel shows.

Do you know, given that literally every single thirteen episode Marvel show has had the same criticism levelled at it, I really don't understand why they're insisting on keeping the 13 episode format. Ten episodes would be absolutely perfect for DD, JJ and LC, and probably this as well. Nothing could save Iron Fist from being a bit suss. :slol:

I think with 10 episodes you hopefully end up with tighter scripts for a more consise overall storyline.

This is really good but it is totally hampered by the clumsy "too dumb to live" writing at times.

Hmm, I've just seen this guy in a mask shoot a cop and I have him at gunpoint. Think I'll get really really close to him instead of just waiting for backup!

Hmm, my dying friend is clearly trying to tell me something. Better scream and shout over him!

Hmm, I am absolutely certain of the identity of the bomber and know he is suffering from intense PTSD.
Maybe I should try and find him by myself and not call the police.

Never watch CW's DC based shows then, there's so many stupid decisions every episode.

Just finished Punisher and it was glorious.

Easily up with the best of the Netflix stuff. Really hope we get another season.

EDIT: Just noticed that the first 3 episodes of Runaways are out. Be watching that over the weekend I think.

Just watched the first three episodes of Runaways. Fairly impressed with it to be honest. I thought it would fall into the same quality bracket as AoS and Agent Carter as a typical US Network style show, but it's actually inbetween them and Netflix.

It's very much a teen-drama, which was to be expected, but it's started off well. They spend more time setting up the background to the characters than I remember the comics doing, but so far it works.

Looking forward to the fourth episode next week.
