Is it worth playing for like 3 hours so you can save up enough gold yo buy an avatar or 250 credits though?

Absolutely not. It's dire.

Cosmo and Armor are both pretty good at screwing with my destroy tactics. Enchantress is good at stopping Knull but I've never seen anyone do it.

Knull is usually a turn 6 play so it's usually a prey and hope situation. Did manage this earlier though, probably the worst thing that can happen as a Knull player

I hate how prominent destroy decks are and how the new location gives them another buff.

If you can’t beat them join them. Shamed to say I’m having great success with the boring venom nimrod death deck.

I can't stand destroy. You just hit the same combos over and over again and then get a free 12 power for doing something that already benefits you.

I've been running a disruption deck (Daredevil, Aero, Polaris, Magneto, Spiderman) to try and mess up some of their plays.

Basically means they can't Arnim Zola at least, or I can try and pull their nimrod into an awkward lane

Stegron and juggernaut work well in this deck too.

I don’t like playing destroy but you can’t deny it’s one of the more powerful and dominant decks. It benefits from so many locations and aside from wakanda doesn’t have many weaknesses. It is boring since everyone plays the same way though. It’s why I enjoy the “strawberry float you” decks of messing up and countering people. You won’t win cubes because they rage retreat but it’s satisfying anyway.

Yeah, there's so many locations that venom can take advantage of, it's basically like an instant win if they draw it.

Even if you Shang chi it they still have death and knull so who cares.

I firmly believe knull should be nerfed, maybe 5 energy but only gives power equal to half of that destroyed. Gives more chance to counter it and it will still be a powerful card. Like you said death feels like a free 12 power card in almost every game, that needs nerfing too, maybe reduce its power to 8?

I still like that there is a relatively healthy variety of play styles, but destroy is definitely becoming a little too prominent. I know the devs monitor stats so hopefully will adjust. Their fix to galactus was well implemented as I hated that card and now it’s hardly used but when it is, it feels more earned.

Knull should just be combined power of your destroyed cards only. Not for the whole board.

I think Knull is fine. Skrull hard counters it.

The issues is power creep with Nimrod and Death As well as the way locations work with Venom.

Putting Death back up to a 9 cost would be a start since it'd stop her being played on turn 6 alongside Knull as often.

That would make knull harder to counter though?

Because now Skrull ldoesn't counter it, and neither does Rogue

Anything that makes it harder to play Death though, yes please.

Playing it on 4 or 5 is insane value and should be a little harder to pull off.

Loving how everyone is spamming Destroy decks and they go "here ya go, have another Weapon X character!"

I'm gonna enjoy playing Mobius next month and making death unplayable every game.

Sweet sweet revenge

I've had more than enough of my fill of destroy decks.

They're so dumb. x-23 really just pushed them over the edge. Not only is it infinite destroy fodder, it lets them energy chest with zero consequences.

Wave benefits your opponent too, electro handicaps you, Psylocke makes you take a tempo hit and only works once.

Why is X-23 the only one with no drawback?

X-23 is pretty ridiculous, and I like destroy

Official Steam release is today with transferrable saves. Haven't actually played much this month but being able to transfer my save between platforms means I'll be playing a lot more.

Just lost a game because of this stupid new Yashida Base location.
Played Magneto on it final turn to draw two of their cards over and it destroyed Magneto.

Magneto is weird on that location. Technically he 'gets there' last because he only counts as be at the location after his effect has finished.

Pretty sure that worked before? Everything is tied to your account online. You could at least do it on steam if you logged in with your Google account.

The changes to snowguard are brilliant.

Using it to counter Magik is great fun. Oh, you've got a nice move planned out for turn 7, do you? No thanks! :slol:

The silly neighbourhood vegetable.

Just had to use up four Spotlight Caches to get Alioth, now to wreak havoc
