People are speculating that this will be delisted soon. It's currently on sale on Steam and Xbox. I'm not sure about PlayStation.

Still on the fence with this.

Cheap, delisted soon...

Versus...

No time to play them...

Did they fix any of the bugs/glitches from the original games and launch issues?

I'll say this - me and Banjo played through the port of MUA1 last month and it's absolutely terrible.

Man I wish they'd announce delistings in advance, Activision seem to have been pretty guilty on this front. It'd make more sense really as it'd likely inspire more rush purchases

I agree - I only bought it because it could be delisted. I'm interested in playing it but I know that I won't have the time for a while. Had this been delisted (it's still up at the moment) without speculation, that would have been one missed sale. I guess that the opposing thought is that anyone with a genuine worry will buy it sooner, rather than later, at a higher price.

Aye, s'true. Perhaps the sales difference either way is negligible to a publisher as large as Acti

Hope you enjoy in any case, I remember hearing all versions of the game had issues at launch, hopefully those are fixable with mods on PC

I mean even with the issues and unpolished, unfinished look they're still great games. Just a bit disappointing in terms of what I was expecting.

Thanks  you've just saved me money. I do remember being frustrated by both games on 360. A lot of stuff were unlockables but the game didn't seem to track progress properly, myself a 2 others played on the same console and each one of us would and wouldn't unlock certain things despite all being present throughout the game.

annnnd… they're delisted

Ultimate Alliance 2 is still listed on the Xbox 360 page for $29.99. More than likely this’ll be removed very soon.

I went back on the "rereleases" after loving MUA the first time round. God it was a painful. Had to stop a few levels in

They have not aged well

Loved the Galactus cliffhanger tease at the end of the first game and them just completely forgetting about it for the second one and going with the shitty Civil War plot.

Yeah I lost it when I saw that/remembered it at the end of the first game. You can tell the civil war stuff in the second one was editorially mandated.

I liked the civil war plot :( Was fun to have a branch point in the story

Probably my favourite deadpool moment

I didn’t mind it but the final act was pretty gooseberry fool

It would have been fun to play through these again after being introduced to a lot of characters in the MCU. When I played these I was only a fan of X-Men and knew of Spider-Man, Daredevil etc. I was googling Cloak & Dagger last weekend after watching the show to learn more about those characters and apparently they were in the second game

Ah man Cloak and Dagger are excellent, with interesting powers. They were introduced in Spider-Man's titles I think, but have had a few really enjoyable limited series' and appearances in other media. I'm looking forward to getting stuck into the TV show.

I consider myself to have a pretty comprehensive knowledge of the MU - there are still characters in the Ultimate Alliance games that I have either no or sketchy knowledge of. Where the hell did they pull Wyatt Wingfoot from, for example. He was the Human Torch's room-mate in the early Fantastic Four comics and has done very little since.

It really is, you’re in for a treat. Final episode next week! I’m not sure if anywhere in the UK has picked it up?

Nice one :toot: I’ll probably give them a rewatch on there at some point so we get a season 2
