I was really hoping Activision hasn't just pulled another Prototype remaster but the speed with which this has emerged suggests this might be the case. I'll hold fire for some reviews/impressions and a price cut as I think they're preying on people's nostalgia just a bit too much with this.

Wasn't their gold editions of these games that had all the DLC included on the disc? I thought when they took the DLC downloads down from sale, the disc versions were the only way to get them.

I know. But I'm still tempted (only the first one though). I loved it on release, and despite not having the DLC character I liked best it's still got Invisible Woman to be a beast.

Some one on YouTube playing UA2 on ps4 showed the character select screen and Carnage selectable. So maybe part 2 has dlc?

(Edit - Oh god the MUA DLC was only on 360 wasn't it? Surely it can't still be an issue years later?)

I wonder if the DLC is only that which was available for the original PC versions (which I'd assume these have been ported from). I don't think the 360 DLC ever officially came to PC but I might be wrong (I'm going off the Wikipedia page). Looks like the DLC was across PS3, 360 and PC for MUA2.

If ever we needed an example of the problems exclusive DLC causes. Literally no one now benefits - we just have missing content. Forever.

Currently downloading the double pack from PSN.

I have such happy memories of the game that I couldn't say no.

Piss take of a price though and no dlc for the first game is very disappointing as I always wanted to play the extra characters.

Nah not going to get this if they aren't bothering to include the DLC for MUA1. No playable Dr Doom = no sale.
