So my Marvel rewatch in the run up to AoU finally brought me to Agents Of SHIELD.
I'd originally abandoned the show around episode 7 of season 1, not being terribly impressed with it. That and I hadn't seen Thor: Dark World yet so I wanted to watch that before I saw the tie-in episode. I'd not really been looking forward to this at all.
Ironically enough I found that the show started getting much better with episode 8. So much so that by the end of the season I was getting through 4-5 episodes a day. Then Season 2 started and it was even better somehow.
I didn't see Ward being a double agent until a few minutes before it happened. As soon as he volunteered to escort Garret to the Fridge with Hand I knew something wasn't right. So that was a nice surprise. Though I was dreading him becoming a "good guy" again in season 2, but so far they've kept him suitably nasty. The bit where he murdered and burned his family...
I'd had the Inhuman stuff inadvertently spoiled though. I walked into the living room while my mum was watching it a few weeks back and heard the word "Terrigenesis". So any time someone talked about Sky being different I immediately though "Inhuman". I loved Fitz name drop when he described her post Terrigenesis heart-rate though. I'm now up to date with it and absolutely loving it. I do feel it's went off the boil slightly a bit in the past few episodes, but it's still fantastic. Oh and
Edward James Olmos is strawberry floating amazing.
