Will be shocked if it doesn't spin off from the inhumans somehow. It's the only thing in the show currently worth spinning off.

Agent Carter apparently has a decent chance of renewal as well

Mockingbird spin-off please, she's really the only character that's deserving of a spin-off.

So my Marvel rewatch in the run up to AoU finally brought me to Agents Of SHIELD.

I'd originally abandoned the show around episode 7 of season 1, not being terribly impressed with it. That and I hadn't seen Thor: Dark World yet so I wanted to watch that before I saw the tie-in episode. I'd not really been looking forward to this at all.

Ironically enough I found that the show started getting much better with episode 8. So much so that by the end of the season I was getting through 4-5 episodes a day. Then Season 2 started and it was even better somehow. :D

I didn't see Ward being a double agent until a few minutes before it happened. As soon as he volunteered to escort Garret to the Fridge with Hand I knew something wasn't right. So that was a nice surprise. Though I was dreading him becoming a "good guy" again in season 2, but so far they've kept him suitably nasty. The bit where he murdered and burned his family...

I'd had the Inhuman stuff inadvertently spoiled though. I walked into the living room while my mum was watching it a few weeks back and heard the word "Terrigenesis". So any time someone talked about Sky being different I immediately though "Inhuman". I loved Fitz name drop when he described her post Terrigenesis heart-rate though. 8-)

I'm now up to date with it and absolutely loving it. I do feel it's went off the boil slightly a bit in the past few episodes, but it's still fantastic. Oh and Edward James Olmos is strawberry floating amazing.

S2 Ep 17

So who the hell is Raina then? Looks like a cat or something and can see the future?

Ultimate Gorgon? She was female whereas the 616verse version is male. She doesn't have those powers as far as I can remember though

She doesn't have to be anyone.

Great episode, was worried the Bahrain stuff wasn't going to pay off but it really did quite nicely. Hopefully we get a better idea of where the final episodes are heading in the next episode. By this time last season The Winter Soldier had happened

Looks like yet another character they've just made up for the show rather than using someone from the comics.

Because the show is at it's best when it a) connects to the MCU and b) when it uses the comics as source material well and it is at its worse when it tries to be it's own thing and ignore them.

See most of season 1 bar the Winter Soldier episodes.

Wouldn't be surprised if when Raina dies (she's leaving for some other show isn't she?) they'll have Skye, sorry Daisy, "conquer" her powers then they'll barely mention Inhumans again to save them for the movie.

Apparently the season finale is 2 hours long.

I was thinking today, I think the 20 odd episode network season actually hurts the show. Looks at how good and focused Agent Carter and Daredevil were. This REAL SHIELD crap atm is just pure filler until they can get to the Avengers tie in episodes

Quick question: we're up to episode 13 and are about to watch 14 tonight (basically where C4 and Amazon Prime are up to). Are the AoU episodes later than this? I'm assuming so from the last couple of posts, and the fact that they'll probably tie in to the US release, but I wanted to check.

Bobbi And Hunter May Be Our S.H.I.E.L.D. Spin-Off Agents

But things sound like they are in a very early phase, as even Deadline seems to suggest, since the potential show won’t be greenlit or shelved until the script for the pilot/first episode comes in. And it hasn’t yet. We’ll wait and see.

Is Hunter basically their Hawkeye-lite because Renner won't do TV?

Avengers: Age of Ultron sits between S02E19 "The Dirty Half Dozen" (which airs in America on 28th April) and S02E20 "Scars" (which airs 5th May).

Whether it ties in or not is another matter, but I expect it will in some fashion.

Episode 21 and Episode 22 air back to back on 12th May and both episodes are titled "S.O.S."

I like the characters and actors but I don't see how they warrant a spin-off :?

Wonder if they'll call it To Hunter Mockingbird :slol:
