I assume it is
consensual anal? Because if so then I cannot see why that makes it dark but I can see why it would be shocking for a Disney show.

It is consensual. It's been a few years since I read the comics, but the only other controversial thing I can think about is the backstory between Jessica Jones and Killgrave but I don't think they'd reveal that in the first episode.

Yeah that looks appropriately dark. Seems Killgrave has a far larger role than the comic where he only turns up for the last arc.

Can't decide if I should go in blind to this, only knowing information from the synopsis and trailers or if I should read any of the comics first. Hmmm.
