Well if it's just his skin is impervious then you could probably kill him in an explosion as his internals would get all strawberry floated up.

He can survive explosions.

Still need to start and finish season 2 of Narcos before this is out! Got a 4 day weekend so probably going to be able to power through Luke Cage.

Indeed, although I'm guessing as Luke Cage says "P.L.O style was my joint back in the day" it's actually Method Man as Method Man in this.

Awesome, trailers look excellent, can't wait for this. Just finished Daredevil S2 so I'm ready for some new Netflix/Marvel action.

Only started with the shows on Netflix a few months back so I've watched two seasons of DD and Jessica Jones in quick succession, if this is as good as those then we're in for a treat.

The combo of Netflix and Marvel seems to be working out pretty well so far, bodes well for the upcoming Iron Fist, Punisher and Defenders. If I had to pick I'd say DD pips JJ at the moment for me, but both shows have been fantastic!

Empire review - 3/5

Verdict More ambitious than Netflix's other Marvel series, relying more on character than comic conventions, there are the bones of a great series if it can conjure a better story.

I really liked ep 1, particularly the way it's been shot and the soundtrack (to the point where I'm streaming some Raphael Saadiq this afternoon on Amazon Prime). I'd be quite happy if Luke's powers took a backseat for the whole series as I think there is enough stuff there to keep it interesting.

Much slower pace than daredevil or even Jessica jones but it's still enjoyable.

First episode didn't particularly grab me but I'll stick with it.
