No, if anything Iron Fist is one of the best Marvel characters - the writers have massacred the character here.

I was hoping for more from Sigourney Weaver's character TBH.

I really didn't see the point in her at all. No idea why they decided to just make up a completely new villain for this show rather than using one of the countless ones from the source material.

I didn't see the point in killing her off just for shock value. We never even got to see what she could do in a fight.

I was hoping she'd turn out to be Mephisto or something to transistion from Street Level to the Supernatural in the near future. Her and Gao did talk briefly about someone senior to them at one point. And they could easily bring her back from the dead if they choose to reuse her. But yeh, I was surprised they just killed her off without doing much with such a big name

It's a shame they're held back by what characters they can use by the movie side of things, even though it's clear Feigie doesn't want anything to do with the TV side of things.

Figuring out strength levels in this was confusing.

Luke Cage clearly is a one man army.
Jessica Jones is 2nd strongest.
Neither have martial arts skills and just rely on being close to the action.

Iron Fist is fast and skilled but with far less durability and still can't hurt Luke with an Iron Fist attack.

Daredevil is fast and skilled but is basically the weak link of the group.

So in most of the fight scenes you end up thinking "why doesn't Luke Cage just knock these fodder out easily".

I enjoyed the show but it's definitely got some flaws.

Daredevil season 2 remains my favourite because of The Punisher. None of these Marvel shows are unmissable amazing TV, but I do admire the ambition and intention of the shows.

Still late to the party but end of episode 3 and beginning of 4 is up there with the best of the Netflix shows (alongside Frank in Daredevil S2).

I finished this the other day. Overall I really enjoyed it, it was up there with DD for me, was better than JJ and LC and kicked the gooseberry fool out of IF (which I didn’t hate).

Danny is a useless little whiny bitch though. I am not sure if the character is supposed to be that way or if the writing for his character is just appalling? General series spoilers moaning about Danny below:

This is better than I expected, though I do sometimes wish I just watching Daredevil season 3.

I can't strawberry floating stand whatever petty legal bullshit it is that means this is pretty much as far removed from the MCU as The Wire. As far as I can remember through all of this and all of Daredevil the only reference to anything from it is 'The incident', which is so non-specific that to a layman it could be anything. Are they seriously not allowed to even say 'Iron Man'? And where the hell is Spiderman? Logically speaking he should 100% be involved in this. He's the Queens equivalent of Daredevil, he'd have as much interest in saving NY as any of them.

Obviously from a business standpoint they can't have mega stars like Robert Downey Jr. romping about with these relative B-listers, but surely they could integrate it a bit better than they have.

It's not a legal thing, it's the head of Marvel Studios hating the chairman of Marvel Entertainment. The movie and the TV divisions are now completely separate.

That was one dull first episode.

Finished this last night. Was ok. Better than Iron Fist but was quite a way off the others IMO.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Daughters of the Dragon series with Misty and Colleen.

Quick question from someone who hasn't watched Jessica Jones: Why does she appear to be super strong? I thought she was just a normal person who was good at investigating.
