Up to the end of episode five now - thoroughly enjoying this, it's absolutely met my expectations so far.

Best character is tough to choose between Stick, Cage and Jones. Daredevil is close behind them. They all really shine for me. Rand is as much of a whiny little strawberry float as he was in Iron Fist, but he's called out on being a bellend nearly every time he opens his mouth and I wonder if that wasn't a consciouschoice by the show runners.

Near the end of episode six now - Danny throwing a temper tantrum when they decide it's too dangerous to go outside and getting his ass handed to him by Jessica was absolutely perfect. :lol:

First episode finished, nothing really to spoil so I won't use tags :shifty:

It's a bit slow (but not in a bad way) so I can see where those complaints come from when the reviews started to come in

I absolute love the sound and cinematography. Everything is so well lit (each main characters scene have their own colour pallets, red for daredevil etc, and sound to match) it's really clever how it's all done, like somebody has taken an episode from each show and chopped it up and spliced it together. It'll be interesting to see how it works when the characters come together.

I might just do the other 7 episodes today :slol:

Couple of gratuitous boob shots in episode 8 as well.

About ten minutes before she loses her arm - obviously I know the comic character has a bionic arm but I wasn't expecting that. :shock:

Thought that was excellent, personally. We'll see what critical consensus is now that all episodes are in the public domain, but I really, thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing.

I finished it earlier and also thought it was excellent. The last part of episode 6 had some :shock:

moments and although I wondered if (episode 8 spoiler)Misty would lose an arm, I didn't actually think it would happen. It had an excellent final episode too, which out of the shows so far, only Daredevil (both seasons) achieved.

that midland circle section was probably the best of all the netflix shows so far. Danny is so much better now, the choreography is great. I believe it's the same choreographer as they use for Daredevil and Agents of SHIELD?

When Danny is finally subdued on the table and I began to wonder what the hell that sound was coming from his fist and then Cage burst through the door and the beat drops and then Electra in red slowly walking down the corridor like some kind of ninja badass from A zombie movie while the 4 heroes beat the hell out of all of the guys in he corridor oh and the Luke/Danny team up, taking all the bullets god damn. this episode

The different colour saturations are annoying me. I understand what they were trying to do but it's overly obtrusive.

Not liking either Iron Fist or Daredevil series I thoroughly enjoyed The Defenders. I will need to give Daredevil a second chance and try watching again.

S01E08: I was expecting her to start this season with a robot arm after she was shot in it in Luke Cage. She is going to be in Iron Fist 2: Daughters of the Dragon :datass:

That was really good over all! Lot's of surprises (Episode 6 - Face palm moment leading in to holy crap moment) and the 8 Episode length really worked I think!

Did anyone see The Punisher trailer? and I didn't notice any Stan Lee cameo/poster.
