I maintain the answer is Burger King but others disagree with me.

Burger King, except for the fact they all seem to be closing down. There isn't one within 15 miles of here.

This is true. In my local town the Burger King closed down and someone stuck a sign on the door giving directions to the nearest McDonalds.

I prefer McDonald's, the fat and salt contents at Burger King terrify me.

Surely it's similar? McDonalds fries are much saltier as well.

Burger King, nicer burgers but too expensive and also most of them seem to be closing down, the one in Piccadilly Circus closed down.

McDs is good, but I don't care much for the Fish Burger.

KFC > McDonalds and Burger King

Out of the two you mentioned though, Burger King. McDonald's chips are too salty and the chicken generally tastes better at Burger King (except McDonalds' Chicken Selects). That being said BK is more expensive. You've made me hungry with this thread by the way! Thankfully I'm at home otherwise I'd go out for some fast food now. Instead I think I'll get some cornflakes.

Burger King averages nearly double accross the board in both categories.

McDonalds for Egg McMuffins. And their great chips.
Burger king for their pwner burgers.

However, Wimpy's Half-Pounders rock both out the park. (Haven't seen a Wimpy in about 10 years mind, they still about?)

Also, I love Gherkins in a burger.
It's one of those foods that I have to be in the mood for, or have a fancy for.

McDonalds, if only for the wonders of the classic NES game McDonaldsland. That was awesome. The enemies looked like bits of salad.

I might make a thread about that game in Retro Gaming.

Burger King all the way. Their burgers actually feel like they have some substance to them.

I ate a Wimpy at a motorway service station a couple of years ago and it was by far the worst thing I have put in my mouth.
