I'm sorry, turns out I'm a huge liar. I didn't take a break until Tuesday at all.

But at least I've got all possible S-ranks now. Just need that patch and then we're good to go. Next stop: all the objectives.

And then the nuke.

24 hours of in-game time to develop a nuke?! :dread: You gotta be strawberry floating shitting me, game! strawberry floating christ, I should have started developing it as soon as it became available. I only just noticed the requirements today when checking the hidden trophy list.

Load of bullshit.

I don't suppose stolen nukes count towards the trophy, do they?

Do not like the fact that I'm now having to repeat missions from earlier but with the ExTreEeEe3eee3eeEeEeme difficulty to just to progress the story. These missions should of been side ops.

Kojima must of run out of ideas

But I do though (I think)

Missions 33, 34, 36 & 37, I've done those already, will try 35 in a bit & see what happens.

Currently causing mayhem with stealth & my water pistol.

You just need missions 1-31, the post-game ones with the yellow story marker, the story specific side-ops and the story tapes.

Modified missions don't advance the story.

So you can't just leave the game running, you have to be *actually playing* for time to count down?

If it comes to that, go to free roam & put an elastic band on the left stick. It might work.

Pretty sure time counts down even if you're just sat in the ACC between missions.

Yeah it does down to the last minute then I find development or something completes if I move from the ACC to MB or one of the maps.

I've often started and finished development inside the ACC while leaving game running. What it (leaving game running while you do other things) doesn't seem to work for is raw material processing and transfer of soldiers in brig/sickbay :x For those to tick over the game seems to need to detect it is being played.

Yeah, at least you can do it inside the ACC while leaving the console on, but still, 24 hours is beyond a strawberry floating joke.

Is this like GTA in once you've completed the main story, you can carry on and finish up on other missions etc?

Do you often contemplate the complexity of life?

Yes. You can go back and repeat anything as many times as you like.

Alright, I've finally got this now. I know the systems, I'm know how the vision/hearing systems work on the guards and I'm figuring out how to use Snake and his kit properly. Done a couple of Side-Ops without using Reflex Mode and the feeling is fantastic.

On the Extract Huey mission, got to him in perfect stealth and an making my way out. Good times.

I stealth main missions and use SOs to make most of other gameplay features.

Game of the year for me. Utterly amazing stuff.

Waiting for teleport Fulton and teleport arm to develop.

I did a recue the kid mission and it was in the Afghan base which you can sneak into through the drains. I ran across the other side. Took out the guard. Then had an idea. What if I blew up the power line. .... Threw a grenade and it went down. The base went dark and quiet then tidied up.

Low on fuel but everything else I'm doing fine with.

Wish my image sig would work

I like to tag all the best troops in an outpost so I get a heathy split between killing or tranqing fools.
