100% items Drumstick

Yeah, thats about what I had. Definitely can do the final boss with 2 power bombs-you get more in the final fight once you've used them when you counter.

The game tells you roughly where each item is as the map flashes. There's a few difficult shinesparks but generally I found it OK.

I'm still chipping away at this and very much enjoying it. I picked up the Speed Booster last night and am back in Dairon. It really is amazing to see the series back in such strong form :toot:

All done. Finished with 16:39.03 on the clock.

Loved every minute, though moving between some of the worlds did become annoying.

Well done Drummy. Finishing with 100% items is a massive achievement.

Glad you're still loving it Super Dragon - it really is a special game. Keep us updated on your progress mate.

Indeed I will. I managed to get in a bit of game time last night and picked up the Grapple Beam and am now trying to beat the Chozo that attacks you in Ferenia.

Not even going to attempt brutal dread mode. But I think they said there was going to be another free update - a boss rush mode (where you take on all the bosses one after the other) - I'm very down with that.

I wish was Cuphead handled the same way as Dread. Release it as a difficult game as it was intended to be played - then later a free DLC release with a super hard 'one-hit-gameover' mode and a rookie mode.

Ah man, you can't change the difficulty for a saved game. I have gotten stuck with the bosses so many times due to by the time I get there, I have very little health to tackle them. I must have taken at least 20 attempts at each one so far (I've done six bosses).

Ah man that sucks, sounds like you are too far in to want to restart as well. It would have been cool if you got to toggle difficulty in game like the Doom games.

How far are you with this game at the moment?

Yeah would have loved to knock the difficulty down just to get my health back then knock it back up once I had recharged.

I’ve got 46% of the items. Not sure how far along that is mind.

I would love to see a 100% single-segment run on Dread Mode.

I bet the big names are already practising for this. I reckon we'll have one within a week of Dread Mode's release!

Unlike me who’s probably going to give it another run through on rookie, I’ve had the challenge with my first run

I wonder if they have more updates planned down the line, I know it’d break the sequence of a lot of the game but I’d still love to see a new game + option with the Metroid suit being available in boss fights only.

I think the chances of proper DLC have dropped significantly now with these difficulty setting updates :(

I finally found the Gravity Suit :toot:

I was a bit stuck after finding the Space Boots but looked online to work out which direction to go in Burenia.

I'm now back at Artaria which has frozen over.

Experiment Z-57 was a tricky battle but it has been defeated. :toot: I've but got the Screw Attack so am exploring the world for blocks the can be destroyed with it.
