Sounds like we're getting good one from NoE

While supplies last, fans will also be able to purchase a special edition of Metroid: Samus Returns which includes a physical version of the game, a download code for the original Game Boy game Metroid II: Return of Samus to be redeemed in Nintendo eShop, a SteelBook®, a sound-selection CD featuring 25 tracks from across the Metroid franchise, a gold “S” pin badge, a Morph Ball 3D keyring and a 40-page artbook.*

Aye that's getting bought.

:o I hope the American special edition is as good.

Nintendo are getting good at the correct amount of tat and steelbooks

I feel the wants, so strongly now.

I'm sure it helps that they've got First4Figures to hawk the expensive stuff to those who can afford it, and all the povvos can just get the amiibos and be happy.

Been listening to this sexy Super Metroid remix on and off for a few days now. Me likey.

I never got my register interest e-mail from Nintendo so I'm looking forward to a sell out.

I'm getting a little frustrated with Nintendo's approach to selling stuff. The repeated "search websites / refresh / get your order in within two minutes" is getting old pretty fast.

Annoyingly this is out the day I start my new job in Germany, so if I manage to preorder the special edition, I won't be able to play it for months

Get it in Germany instead!

The special editions of games are identical across Europe, and the packaging is in multiple languages.

Thanks for that - now to hope they stay in business until 15th September. I'm really excited for a winter on retro Nintendo now with this and the SNES mini.

At that price I bet it's going to sell out pretty quick. I was expecting around £80.

Ability to register interest has just been removed from the Nintendo UK site (it's now just empty space) so it's coming imminently one would think:

It seems like a shitty law to be honest - the AM2R guys arent profiting off of it...

It's like, what if i drew a cute pikachu picture for a friend, and nintendo came, took it off me and then tore it up, declaring it illegal. That's what i think this is akin too. Maybe its more complicated (prolly is)... stuff like this makes me hate Nintendo (and specifically reggie) even more. I dont know whats going through the minds of the people when doing this, it's a labour of love no?

Though going on Twitter theres so many people that are defending nintendos decision so idfk whats going on.
