Metroid: Samus Returns | 3DS |

This is excellent so far. Can't believe it's been 13 years since the last 2D Metroid.

I forgot to cancel my Legacy Edition preorder from Amazon.de, so.... if anyone wants one at cost + P&P, they are welcome. As for what 'cost' is from those thieving bastards (and the exchange rate), that's a different story. But it's still cheaper than it's going for on eBay. PM me if interested.

Is this on the eshop yet? Can't get on my 3DS till after work.

I've got an estimated delivery date of tomorrow, but I'm hoping that it might be there when I get home.

Just got my delivery of the special edition - lots of lovely lovely stuff but how the hell do I play a cd these days?

I was going to say stick it in a PS4...until I remembered that doesn't play music CD's either.

Just got in from the hospital and my copy is on the settee waiting to be opened.

Legacy Ed. doesn't come with the reversible cover apparently, nor the 3DS case GAME promised. It's been replaced with...a poster.

Do you not find it odd that you think having music on physical media is weird, but a game is fine?

Well yes, but then I would have downloaded it normally but I wanted the stuff. I guess it all fits in terms of physical media and convincing myself I'm back in the 90's.
Now I think about it I'm sure there is an old ghetto blaster in the garage.

For those who don't care to keep the Legacy edition box it's going for around £15 on eBay. Yes, as in an empty cardboard box.

The legacy edition is very nice, pin badge is a little underwhelming (too shiny but a good weight). Shame I can't hold onto it, as the art is really cool. The CD and the unexpected giclee print of the original airbrush art for the GameBoy box on the reverse side of the download code are probably my favourite parts. I would definitely frame that. In fact I'll probably scan it.

Just opened my Legacy Edition!

Wow! This is by far the best Special Edition of the game Nintendo has ever done...wonderful packaging and great extras. I was thinking of selling it after I forgot to cancel my pre-order, but I have to keep it. :toot:

If only the Switch Zelda edition had been as good.

Hoping mine arrives safely. Had a brief look around Frankfurt and saw some Samus amiibos, but no squishy Metroids

Don't worry - I'm sure the amiibos will come back into stock, especially if you live in Germany - check out Saturn or Media Markt - they always have loads of ones which are often sold out elsewhere!!

Is anyone else actually playing this or are you all just fiddling with your amiibos and special editions?
