If they're serious about breaking in to Japan...

I think the prospects for Xbox in Japan are bleak whatever they do.
They've tried heavy discounts and in the past released games aimed directly at the market but for whatever reason Japan just doesn't seem to want the console.
Also it's not like the Japanese market is that huge anyway so if I was Microsoft I'd just give up.

If they wanted to break Japan they’ll have to go super big. Imagine if they could purchase Sega of Capcom... the uproar would be huge.

...obviously extremely unlikely to be Insomniac and I can't see it being a Japanese dev, but I guess you never know. Anyone think of any more that fit the bill?
