Really enjoyed the first Gears, played through it several times. 2 was better in co-op and I enjoyed the multi-player. Never played any that followed.

Photek can't be older than 15, that's the only logical conclusion I can come to.

Judgement was wank. 2 was epic, 3 was good, first is still the best.

Series is dead to me much like Halo. I've had my fill but good news for MS fanboys like Photek.

Half-life 2 is my all time fave game along with OoT and Halo. Gears is down a bit but still has it's place. Fable is dead to me unless it gets a reboot, and I can't stand car games.

I bet they re-released on X1 with unreal engine 4. Was it only Gears 1 that came out on PC?

I picked up Gears 1 for £1 in Game with the intention of playing it again at some point, but I've no interest in future Gears games. Perfectly reasonable stance I think.

Well that's fair enough. Would MS release them on PC though? Why not if you ask me. Gears 2 was a bit flaky performance wise be nice to see it on powerful hardware.

I'm not sure how well received Gears 1 was on PC, perhaps that's why we never saw any of the sequels released for PC, it simply didn't do very well?

My memory is hazy but I think Gears 2 was due to come to PC but MS/EPIC pulled the plug...

I remember playing Halo 3 with Brer, he was a demon at it too.

Pity he didn't get on with the other Halo's, Glowy you have premium for Battlefield 4?

Yeah, at mo you get 8 new maps, 4 are from B3 apparently but you get CTF! With it, another 12 maps to come.

The story wasn't as good but Judgment had by far the best multiplayer in the series.

Very glad to see there shall be more investment in Gears, my favourite series of this generation.
