Xbox at E3 2014 - What do you want to see?

VR - For VR to really take off, it need to be supported by both big console leaders, "This is the reason we packed in all those Kinects, VR is the future of Xbox".

Fable VR - A gorgeous immersive world

Halo 2 Anniversary - All those classic maps (and some twists) with next-gen graphics and new dual-wielding weapons.

Cortana - Windows Phone's Cortana replaces the current voice system.

Forza Horizon 2 - Trailer cuts early on, "We're taking a break from Forza this year, here's PGR5"

Not the usual Gears, Halo, Forza shenanighans.

Whether from first party studios or just publishing deals, i'd like to see Microsoft show off a few more new ip's like we saw in the last year with Quantum Break and Sunset Overdrive.

Forza Horizon 2 would be a welcome announcement. The first one was brilliant and if Playground have been given time to and stuff like weather changes and stuff this one should be even better

I'm not too hyped about Halo 2 Anniversary mainly because I don't think the Halo 2 single player was that great, i'd much rather we got an actual in game footage trailer from Halo 5

Something non-Kinect Sports from Rare. Maybe a new Perfect Dark.

Phil Spencer's dropped a few hints and teasers about it but i'd like to see them dip into some of their franchises they haven't used for a while - Something like Crimson Skies, Phantom Dust, Rallisport, Lost Odyssey, (hell even Midtown Madness), etc.

I don't know what but I think Microsoft will have some sort of new hardware to show off - their take on the whole VR thing.

I'd take a Gears of War teaser, even though it's early but a trailer to show the sort of direction Black Tusk are going in with the series

Also, for their conference to end with a huge announcement. Something that evokes the sort of reaction that Sony got at the end of their conference last year or even the type or reaction when Bayonetta was announced as a Wii U exclusive

I don't care whether it's Sony or Microsoft, i definitely want a Fallout 4 trailer

Something that doesn't make me want an Xbone as well as a PS4. Ain't nobody got money fo dat.

Halo 5 - I doubt we'll see much but after seeing what 343 pulled off graphically with the 360 I'm eager to see what they could do with the power of the Xbox One.

I'm pretty sure MS's rumoured AR device is a Windows Phone device aimed at Google Glass.

As for what would get me interested in the platform again, they'd have to do quite a lot.

I'd like to see them do Games with Gold on Xbox One. I want to see the new Gears. I don't care about Halo any more, but I want to, so if they can show me something interesting there I'm all for it. Other than that, I think they're going to need a lot of very good IP, which is going to be a problem for them as last gen once they gained dominance they killed off all their first party studios, and the Xbox One doesn't warrant a purchase for third party games when compared to the PS4.


Tech wise, I'm most interested in DX12 and what it really offers and if it can help to ungimp the system.

Microsoft could surprise us by announcing another deal with Capcom so that Dead Rising 4 would be exclusive to the Xbox One. Capcom seemed pleased with DR3 sales and, as one of the biggest launch titles, MS may want to keep the buzz going.

If MS announced Xbox for Windows and then declared that all games bought through service could be played on any Xbox One or Windows PC you have an account with (assuming the game has compatible versions for both) it would actually be quite interesting. They could even use some form of cloud based save system to allow you to pick up where you left off on one on the other... Not going to happen though.
