I've always thought, if you like Alan Partridge, it's a sign that you have a good sense of humour.

They should put that in dating ads. Rather than GSOH. "Likes Alan Partridge, must do also"

Or "LAP"

There was this kid I knew in school who I was best friends with for about 5 years until one day I found out he didn't like Alan Partridge. Within about 6 months I'd sorta stopped hanging out with him, and I haven't seen him now for about 3 years. Maybe it's the Alan Partridge that did it.

Incidentally, these are incredible.

Who on earth was that? Jack?

Anyone who doesn't like Partridge is scum, sub-human scum.

Very good episode, some cracking lines. Perhaps the best of an excellent series.

How dare he praise Kate Bush without mentioning Hounds Of Love!!!

I must admit though, I spent most of that episode looking at Zoe...

Maybe he prefers the Futureheads' version. I know I do.

I like that "running up and down the hill" song that she done though.

We're running up the hill,
We're running down the hill,
We're running up the hill,
We're running down the hill
With no sausages

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

I meant the album.

But you are bang wrong, sir. Just listen to the percussion on the original version! Big, meaty, close-reverbed electric drums!

Thought it was getting towards that.

Heartbreaking.

When he said “I’ll miss you” and she didnt even register, was AMAZING writing/acting.

There was a genuine sadness at the end, it was like it was going somewhere then the age gulf was made painfully apparent.

I'll give it a go, but I've only got her greatest hits. Well my wife has, I'm not a big fan myself.

I felt really sorry for him. Which is pretty impressive, considering he was a giant twat in most of the other episodes.

That bit with the mouthwash was my favourite!

Oh, and best bit of the whole run? When he's sleeping on his swivel chair and slowly falls off. Classic.
