However Steam saves don't work (so I can't play between the Steam deck and my PC), and I've had a few bugs, including it unlocking a ton of achievements I didn't earn, including 'Big Game Hunter - Obtain all other Midnight Suns trophies'.

Oh, and I can't believe there's no option to switch off the subtitles!

Where for £22?

Cdkeys.com.

Although I wish I'd bought the legendary edition for £36.99 as you can't get the season pass for much cheaper than that on its own.

Yeah the cheapest I can find for the season pass is £31.67. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Deadpool has 3 special mission with "new" vampire enemies.
Then a food truck that lets you discard a card.

So not bad but really doesn't feel like it worth the price.

Finally picked up the PC version with the Season Pass from CDKeys for £32. Really enjoying it so far and loving the card mechanics etc.

My only gripe is the camera being too zoomed in on Hunter when you're running around the abbey but I'm getting used to it.

Fantastic game so far and hopefully continues to get supported down the line.

Has anyone played the DLC yet? Apparently Deadpool went online yesterday.

A new patch on PC fixes the issues that were making it crash on the Steam Deck and adds cloud saves, so I don't have to stream it to play it handheld! :toot:

The patch makes the game instantly crash on my desktop whenever trying to load a save so now I can only play it on the Deck. :x

This is a great game with a perfect gameplay loop for me but the Steam version seems to have had so many issues.

Its only ever crashed for me while running it with RTX enabled.

It's one of the most annoying portrayals of Deadpool I can remember both in terms of voice acting and writing but I liked the first chunk of DLC! Deadpool's movelist works pretty well with my playstyle.

The final mission was trivially easy though with my high level Hunter cards and Magik. Would have finished like four turns early if you could use combo attack cards on the statue. Final cutscene justifies Storm's inclusion in the season pass too which is nice. She seemed a bit of a random pick.

Three-hour demo now available (Xbox/PS+ Premium) for anyone wanting to give it a try.

It's also reduced on the XBox store (though the season pass isn't).

Yeah, seems like this hasn't done the numbers:

...which is a shame.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

If this has any impact on XCOM3 getting made then I'll be seriously annoyed.

Can imagine Take 2 blaming Firaxis for the lower than expected sales.

I bought this on PS5 last night. It is on sale on the PlayStation Store and I got the Legendary version (mainly 'cos I saw that the Season Pass is £40 on it's own... what the!?!?).

I watched a fair few reviews and the combat looks neat (I hope I get on okay with the card battling as that'll be new to me) and the "chatting back at base" aspect looks to be really cheesy but funny  .

Tips:

-Generally you'll only get the chance to unlock better cards for a character if you bring them on a mission.
-Magik is the best character, start using her early when you get the chance to unlock better cards for her.
- Slight spoilers but not really: Take Nico on at least one mission so you can unlock faster healing as a research option.
- If a card is "quick" and you use it to kill an enemy, it won't cost an action.
-Try and decide early on if you want your Hunter to have a light or dark alignment, it's hard to change later. Light alignment is more healing and buff cards, dark is more aggressive. I'd argue light is far better for Hunter.
- There aren't really any bad characters so experiment.

Another useful tip

Try to pet Hunters 'hound' every in-game day to level it up, there's also a cat which occasionally gives a decent bonus when petted but it wanders around so takes a while to find it

You can see the cat on the map can't you?

Yes but it only shows up occasionally.

Also, as mentioned, every character has their benefits and nobody is gimped. I never got on with Ghost Rider but loved Nico once she was powered up. Cap is arguably the best character.
