I only wish there was more combat and less social nonsense at the abbey. Seems to take ages to get to next mission. I have zero interest in exploring the abbey. It throws so many mechanics and systems at you it’s a bit overwhelming at first. Finally feel like the combat is clicking though which is good. I bought the version with all the DLC. Unlocked dead pool and morbid so far, both seem alright.
My tips to enjoying the game more....
Skips every dialogue session, just skip and skip. Watch the FMV movies but the rest just don't bother.
Abbey stuff is worth doing and can be fun.
After each mission run around the abbey and do the usual of unlocking new cards, training, etc. focus on the combat as it's excellent. Rest of it is ok.
Also try to get everyone's friendship up via gifts etc as it unlocks a new super card for each person at friendship level 5.
