Are the Tarot cards worth anything or are they purely collectible?

The best thing about Midnight Suns is that pretty much all the characters, if time is spent learning them, are a valid option (though I never entirely figured Ghost Rider or Blade). Cap was always my go to for his ability to tank and I ended up using Nico a lot more than I thought I would.

Blade is excellent because of bleed.

Yup

I don't think there's a bad character to be honest. But my most used were Spider-Man, Iron Man, Blade, Captain Marvel, Wolverine and Doctor Strange.

Add Magik in there and that's pretty much my crew as well. I found all the characters have strengths if you put the time in, but the ones you've mentioned were just so much fun.

I definitely began using Magik a lot more towards the end of the game. She's a beast once you get some of her more powerful cards.

This is still on my imminent radar to play again now I have the DLC.

Storm is probably the most powerful of the DLC characters. Some of her abilities are amazingly good. The DLC storyline is alright but nothing to write home about ug each character has an interesting mechanic. The only one I never used was Morbius, and I found his manor interactions dull too.

Does the DLC kick in after you finish the main game or does it become available during the main campaign at some point?

Missions unlock at various times through the campaign. From what I recall it’s all vampire themed missions.

Cool, i'll play through them as they appear

I'm at the point now where i'm free to roam the Abbey and now side missions have opened up. A tutorial message mentioned that you don't need to worry about raising all the heroes levels as they'll always keep up with Hunter, if this is the case it's probably best I just use Hunter in every single mission? If Hunter is a high level then everyone will be.

Hunter is mandatory in story missions but if you don't bring Hunter in optional missions, your affinity with other characters won't increase. You basically should always take Hunter with you.

My one main criticism of the game is because you're essentially forced to always use Hunter, you only get a choice of two Marvel characters on any mission. And because Magik is so good the only reason you shouldn't take her on a mission is if she's injured.

Yeah, I thought that was the case, can you send out some of the other heroes to complete the optional missions or can you only do that with the ones at C.E.N.T.R.A.L?

You can do optional missions with three heroes, you still have to play them yourself though.

While characters do keep level with hunter (usually 1–2 levels behind) you want to use characters to gain better cards for them. Pure level is only a small part of what makes them useful. I found with the optional missions it usually gives you enough chances to try different combinations.

Majik, Nico and Blade are my go-to characters to have in a team but I'll swap for Wolverine, Iron Man, Captain America and Captain Marvel when necessary.

I don't like Dr. Strange, Spiderman or Ghost Rider that much.

This was my big complaint really. There is too much Abbeyb stuff compared to the actual battles.

Now got the option to do the DLC missions so I can unlock the characters early and use them in the main game it seems. Did Deadpool first and he’s good, can see me using him a lot.

I found the church near the Abbey looking for the 3rd moon seal and Doctor Strange said he was looking into the magical barrier and he’ll come back to me. I’ve not had any prompts or anything and that was a few in-game nights ago, had a Quick Look at a guide and it says he should have been standing near Hunter’s room the morning after to advise what to collect to open the seal? Is my game bugged or do I need to reach a certain point in the story first before that event triggers?
