Seeing how everyone was so big on them in the other thread.

Music was strawberry floatin sick.

Also what was your favourite series outside the Original? Mine was Time Force because it was actually really strawberry floating good, the acting and writing was great for a kids show. It was also the strawberry floating Q-Rex megazord.

Bought the theme back when it was released as a single  I watched way too much of this on Fox Kids over the years.

Anyone seen the most recent version? Power Rangers Samurai? I've seen it a few times and it's actually alright, pretty close to the original. They even have some mysterious white ranger who is not really good or evil, buty has some sort of dark past. :o

Am I the only one who thought it was a little racist having the Yellow Ranger as a Chinese girl and the Black Ranger as a black guy?

Also I remember the head strawberry float that I experienced when I discovered that Mighty Morphing Power Rangers was actually a recycled Japanese show called Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger and that whenever you couldn't see their faces it was Japanese footage. That and the fact that the Yellow Ranger was actually a guy!

I think there was a little outrage back in the day about that. Another thing is the change in picture quality during most fight scenes... that and the suspiciously Japanese looking buildings in the background of a lot of episodes.

Disney owner Power Rangers for a while (somewhere around Lost Galaxy I think). It's only recently come back into Saban's hands.

Most of Power Rangers is up on Netflix as well I believe, the US one anyway.

I stopped watching it properly around about the end of Lost Galaxy, which I think was technically where the real ties to the first series ended. I only really half-heartedly watched it after the end of Zeo though.

Amazing show though, absolutely made my childhood - the first 3 series, so the ones that were 'Mighty Morphin' were awesome. I have the first 6 series on my portable hard-drive 8-)

Sorry what? There was another series? This reminds me of those people who say that there's a second Star Wars trilogy. I dunno what you're smoking.

First series was brilliant - used to get up at 8.55am every Saturday to watch it. Completely lost interest after the original cast left and everything went to gooseberry fool.

I always was a Jason/Red Ranger fan, the way the producers blatantly made Tommy Green/White/eventually-Red Ranger to steal his limelight was unjustifiably gooseberry fool. They even had stupids stand ins for the original black yellow and red rangers.

I always favoured the Blue Ranger, initially because blue is my favourite colour. Same reason Leonardo was my favourite turtle.

Still looks good for her age though! Less than could be said of the original red ranger, who's a right fat bastard these days!

love the power rangers

i remember being sooo hyped for the movie, went to see it twice 8-)

why i remember it soo much is because it came out just when i was at an age where i stopped playing with figures and toys, so i watched the show, loved it, but didn't buy the toys, and as such probably my first real pre-teen weird age crush... the pink ranger

Yeah he is. He's had 4 amateur fights and 1 pro, all wins. At 38 though isn't he a bit old to be starting a career in MMA?
