Minecraft [PC] [Mac] [XBLA] PCS

I've made a massive underwater area, that I've finally managed to stop flooding. Sadly I've now hit stuff I can't dig through, which I've been told is the bottom of the world! I was hoping to fun into some lava or something exciting, but it was a fairly uneventful dig down once I got below all the water. I need to find myself somewhere I can get some cool materials and some lava from.

Probably once it's finished. Not for a long while, though. £8 is a great deal and it's all direct-to-developer (and your access won't "run out" even when the game goes up on Steam for £15+ in a few months, or whatever), so I'd grab it now.

A link to where to buy it from in the opening post would probably be useful.

In the short term, perhaps. But in the long term, a degree in pixellated mining is unlikely to have much value to an employer.

But of course, then again however Minecraft takes the art of mining to the limits. Clearly the best mining simulator out there, it even trains you for an eventual spider invasion or zombie appocolypse.

I think Dwarf Fortress may have something to say about that.

Hell, even my favorite roguelike of choice had mining in it. (Moria, fact-fans).

A pig spawned underwater, trapped in the glass of my lava tower

I'm loving how bizarre and abstract this discussion is without having any idea how this game works. "I need to find somewhere I can get some lava from".

I'd have got this had I not had my fill of mining thanks to Miner Dig Deep. Hell, I'd have probably bought it anyway had MDD not broke my heart :cry:

Since I can no longer go down, I've decided the only option available to me is to go UP. I'm going out searching for some Iron today, as I want a bucket. I finally hit a rich vein of coal last night so I've more of that than I know what to do with.
