Looks like they re-skinned an unused Mass Effect character. The head portion anyway.

Funny that they're not calling it Mirrors Edge 2, but just Mirrors Edge. Maybe trying to pull in the crowd who didn't buy it first time by not pitching it as a sequel.

The conference it was just in, where that video is taken from, you mean?

Looks promising. Even has the same theme.

It seems to be a prequel. To quote the description of the trailer...

Play through the origin story of Faith and explore the city with an unprecedented level of freedom of action and movement.

I don't know what it is, but a new Mirrors Edge is the only new 3d game I'm interested to play, everything else -literally everything- doesn't seem worth playing. I just watched the mgs5 trailer and he's riding a horse and then next to a tank and some explosions, that was mgs5 yeah? Mirrors Edge is pure mood and tone, the first one had real quiet moments unlike anything else I'd played since splinter cell where you just enjoy moving through these 3d spaces. It's so pure that everything else just seems like a cliched clusterfuck of ugly stuff. Mirrors Edge is just; yeah we designed these lush environments, make your way through them.

I like how pretty much the only "gameplay" in the trailer is of hand-to-hand combat :dread:

At least they don't appear to have got Rhianna Pratchett back. We might actually get a story that's half good this time.

I think it is meant to be a reboot.

EDIT: Ah yeah as Alvin said.

Had the first one unplayed on Steam for three and a half years. 8-)
