He went to prison and is now a sex offender and pretty much poison down there. Can't be employed in a position of trust and really how can you employ someone who so grievously breaches trust at all? His wife stuck by him though amazingly.

yeah it's amazing. at the time i remember her apparently convinced the young lass was a tart who led him on. Seems amazing you could accept that a man in his forties can't control himself with a teenager because she led him on.

All this could have been avoided if she'd kept her pumpum shaved.

The good news is you can go as low as 9 and still not break any holy laws. Just don't do anything evil like keep a dog.

I always thought the age of consent is a funny and arbitrary line in the sand to draw, especially when it varies so much around the world, so something is fine in one place but a few miles down the road and doing it can ruin your life.

To be fair I think by the age of 12 most girls in rural African villages are already working the lives of an adult and have had to mature quickly to deal with poverty, and looking after a family and all that. Whereas 12 year olds over here seem to be far less advanced in the social scale.

Don't they die by the age of like 24.

The Africian chicks, not the ones here.

The oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class are to represent and repress them in parliament.

By that scale they're legal at age 5. I'm going to Africa. Actually thinking about it I'm not into blacks.

Yeah something like that. Physically we're capable of having sex and carrying a child from anywhere between 9-15 years old. Maturity is the decider of course. Places like Holland have a lower consent age probably because they have much better sex ed over there and parents actually talk the their strawberry floating children about it.

In the parts on Africa I'm thinking about they have Rhinos and hippos.

Exactly. Of course there's nothing really preventing teenagers under 16 being mature enough to make a reasonable decision to have sex in this country or equally immature enough that they shouldn't be doing it until 18+

But I guess the law can't equate for such uncertainties so you need the line in the sand.

Is that racist? "Line in the sand", the whole Africa discussion we've been having...

I'm out.

This. The law needs boundaries, a bit like the essentially arbitrary speed limits on our roads.

I personally knew I wasn't ready til I was 18, so I patiently waited. :shifty:

Well, everyone's different. I was sixteen before I had my first 'proper' sexual relationship (as opposed to fumbles and gropes) - with a boy of fifteen. That didn't really last, but I had no issues with it at all (nor did he - except he was cock-hungry and I was, strangely, playing hard to get).

My next 'serious' relationship came a year later - with a man in his early 40's. I was seventeen.

Guess what? The world didn't end, for him or for me. Nobody got hurt and nobody died. I wish I'd appreciated then just how much power a cute seventeen year-old boy can wield over dizzy fortysomething queers. As they say: youth is wasted on the young.

Obviously I was kidding - I'd have literally strawberry floated anything given half the chance. Maybe not a fortysomething queer, though. My art teacher fitted that category and he was rank. No offence.
