Anyway, now the two of them have been found (in broad daylight, wandering about), I guess the UK tabloids can really start to have some fun. It won't be much fun for the teacher. If French medical examiners find any evidence he's been fiddling about with her he will almost certainly be going to prison once he gets back to the UK. It's hard to know why a man would do something so reckless - to even imagine for a moment that somehow, impossibly, it would all work out. Crazy. I can't feel sorry for him - he's a berk. And now they're going to crucify him.

If he loved the girl he had only to wait a year, resign his position at the school (and probably teaching itself). :|

His trouble was, he was on the run with, basically, Kim Bauer circa Series 1 of 24. He had no chance.

"Duck, the police are coming."
"I don't want to... ooh, look at that pretty dress... I'm bored.... Do you still love me?"

He was hoisted by his own petard.

God, that is why I had to stop watching 24. I wanted to smash Kim's face in for being so utterly useless in dangerous times! :x

Yeah, exactly. Love does weird things to people, but one thing it does not do is excuse shagging kids.

What's the betting that she'll try to pretend they didn't have sex, so as not to get him into further trouble?

I want live odds "naaaaaaaaaaaaaa". [/Ray Winstone]

Interesting added moral debate - what if she refused to be examined medically, surely that would be far more invasive, and damaging, to a young girl than consensual sex with a man she thinks she loves.

What do they check for when they investigate?

Im sure I heard somewhere that the hymen etc can break from all sorts of circumstances and as such isnt a reliable indicator as to virginity and all that.

If he actually is in love with a 15 year old kid, something is wrong with him. Who the strawberry float is attracted to inexperienced virgin kids except religious people?

No idea, I just had visions of a hairy chain-smoking French doctor forcing her into some stirrups 'for her own good'.

I bet they could never prove if he's nailed her or not, and the French authorities are fairly uncaring about this whole situation. They'll be glad to get them packed off back to the assembled UK tabloid wolves.

Maybe they should play "truth or dare".

That's a sure fire way to find out if she's done "it" or not.

I watched 16 candles last night, in that they just had a 'confidential' sex quiz on a piece of a4 and that seemed to work quite well.

A Lambrini bottle is being flown over by British police.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

It's a very fair question, when you know what a woman of his age can do , why the hell would anyone, even the wrong headed, bother with a youngster (catholic church excepted)?

I'm not a medical examiner, but I'd guess it'll be for traces of his DNA, semen, etc. Any sign that her private parts have been messed about with, that sort of thing. A few swabs and an experienced visual examination should do the trick, once it's corroborated with her version of events. Sky News were saying she would be examined in France prior to being sent home, but I suspect she'll be put through it all again this side of the Channel.
